What time should I arrive/how long does a session last?

Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your booked session for your briefing and introduction. Sessions last 60 minutes in the room, plus an induction/safety briefing before, and a debrief afterwards. Please allow 100 minutes total for your session

What is the dress code?

Please wear sensible clothes and shoes. Please bring reading glasses if you typically use them!

What is the min/max team size for The Puzzle Room?

 The puzzles in the Mine room are designed for groups of 2-6 with 4 being the optimal size. Due to the size of the game room, we cannot accommodate any additional players beyond 6

Will we be locked in the room?

Our rooms have your group solving puzzles and cracking codes in order to complete a mission objective before time runs out, rather than escaping. You will not be locked in, and can step out as and when you need to.

Can I cancel my booking or reschedule a new session?

This is a live event – we cannot accept any cancellations, or give any refunds. However, we understand that life gets in the way sometimes  – send us an email with at least 48 hours notice and we will reschedule your booking when possible 

Can I bring alcohol into the room?

Due to our insurance requirements, no alcohol is allowed in the room. Any team members under influence of alcohol or drugs will be turned away, and no refund will be given

Are there any Age Restrictions?

This is an unsupervised activity – all groups must include at least one responsible adult (18+). Our rooms and puzzles are suitable for anyone aged 14+ and younger children that love puzzles & games, provided they will enjoy sticking to a series of tasks for an hour!

Are the tasks physical?

None of our puzzles or challenges require any physical exertion beyond picking up light objects. All our puzzles are roughly between waist height and eye level – reaching or bending are not required.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Our rooms may not be suitable for all wheelchair users – please get in touch  before booking to discuss access to the venue and room layout.
